Leonardo Rossano
Background
Leonardo Rossano was born in Taranto in 1963 and got the degree in Architecture at the University of Forence in 1991 with full marks with a final dissertation on a “Computerized stand for publishing”.
From 1992 till 1998 he cooperated with Atch. Claudio Nardi in Florence, dealing with advertisement and the image of stylists’ boutique and clothes manufacturers (Dolce & Gabbana, G.Ferrè, Ittierre, Desmo, Valentino) And several projects of internal architecture.
Since 1998 he is free lance and designs furniture manufactured by Altaplana, Lapalma and Magis.
From 2000 till 2001 he took care of the artistic direction and projects at the Clerprem company manufacturing chairs and components for trains and cars.
From 1992 till 1997 he cooperated with professor Roberto Segoni in the University of Florence for a research in the department of methods and process in the building activity. From 1996 till 2000 he teaches “Design and visual communication” and “History of modern furniture” at the “Accademia Cappiello” Institue.
Since 2002 he has been teaching in the “laboratory of technology assisted planning” for the course of “Projects for fashion” at the University of Florence.
